Ben wrote this song several years ago as an expression of liberation from a strained relationship. The song was intended to convey a sense of opportunity and excitement after a period of relationship strife. Although the song was written about the end of a relationship with a partner, it can signify as well the prospect of “breaking away” from other unhealthy situations.
